What can I say? I am a gadget lover, whether it’s home audio, computer, automotive, cell phone, photography, kitchen appliance related. I am a sucker for new, shiny, innovative toys.
Living in Japan for 13yrs led me to lots of research and spending on various electronic toys. Sometimes I would end up with a really awesome treat, while other times I would spend countless days and nights online searching for fixes, tweaks, firmware and software updates. Well, now I get to bring you into my world so that you can enjoy the Good, the Bad, and the UGLY of being a “Gadget Head”.
So here you have it a view into my window shopping and from time to time a review of items that I have picked up and am testing out the pros and cons of that product.

The Samsung UN40EH5300FXZA. Sporting a 40″ LED display with a crystal clear picture this gem has tons to offer…
I picked up the Samsung as a gift for my mom. I had never owned a Samsung tv before, but I had to take a chance with this one after seeing it on display at the electronic store. The added SmartTV option… Icing on the cake. The first thing that caught my eye was the amazing display that was generated by the 40″ LED. With the bright store lighting and close proximity to other tv’s I was able to not only compare the image, but see how the display preformed in the brightly florescent lit room.
